REPLACEMENT OF STANDARD, FLEXI, OR EXCELLENT RUBBER ROPES

How do I know when it's time to replace the rubber ropes?

Rubber ropes don’t rip off suddenly—they start fraying gradually. As soon as you see small thin rubber strands coming out, it's time to pay attention. We always recommend replacing the rubber rope together with the mat. Both products have a specific lifespan that is closely connected. As soon as you notice wear on the mat, the rubber rope will likely need to be replaced soon as well — and vice versa. That’s why we recommend replacing both at the same time, so you won’t have to service your trampoline again in the near future. By doing so, you also maintain the exact standards and performance characteristics of both components, as recommended for the proper use of our trampolines. By replacing the rubber rope and the mat simultaneously, you reset the trampoline’s lifespan to approximately 300 hours.

The most common wear appears at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions, where the trampoline endures the most stress during workouts.

Why use original parts and avoid rubber ropes from hardware stores?

Every trampoline component is carefully designed and manufactured to meet strict requirements. Our rubber ropes are custom-made with the precise number of strands and a special braided structure that gives them unique properties.

Using non-original rubber ropes—such as those from hardware stores—reduces elasticity and increases stiffness, making Jumping® workouts less comfortable. Landings become either too hard or too soft, causing a person to sink too much.

Differences between rubber ropes:
⭕️ STANDARD: Compatible with STANDARD mats (60 lugs).
⭕️ FLEXI: Compatible with FLEXI mats (54 lugs) and EXCELLENT mats (42 lugs).

Important: Parts from these systems are not interchangeable. Incorrect combinations lead to poor elasticity, faster wear of both rubber ropes and the mat, and potential damage to the trampoline.
